Star Citizen: New Free Fly Event lets you fly 8 fan favorites

Another free fly event in Star Citizen starts today and it is the annual Ship Showdown.

To celebrate the Ship Showdown, you can fly eight fan favorites, pre-selected by the community, for free.

Which ships are included?

The latest Free Fly event in Star Citizen runs until September 15th and the voting for the fan favorites isn’t over yet.

A vote can be cast once every day during the event, at the end of which the winning ship will be chosen.

“Players who own one of the four ships with the most votes can also look forward to additional prizes, including exclusive in-game skins and a challenge coin,” it says. “The winning ship will be honored with an in-game model statue, which all backers will receive for free, whether they own the ship or not.”

• Aegis Avenger Titan
• Anvil C8X Pisces Expedition

It starts today at around 7 p.m. If you want to take part, you just need an account and download the game. You can do both with the official website.
