Warzone 2 is getting closer and yet it is virtually unknown. Now an insider unpacked new information. Supposedly there should no longer be a gas circuit.

Santa Monica, California – The end of Warzone is getting closer and yet there is hardly any official information about the successor. With Warzone 2, Activision wants to wow the masses again and take the Call of Duty franchise to the next level. Now new leaks for the next Battle Royale have appeared. Supposedly there should be no more poisonous gas. We reveal what the leaks about Warzone 2 say and what the rumors could be about.

Warzone 2: New leaks have appeared – no more gas circuit, but the mechanics remain

Who are the leaks from? The leaks come from YouTuber Metaphor. The CoD Pro shared his first impressions of Warzone 2 gameplay on Twitter in August. Now he supplied some more information.

What do the leaks say? Some of the shared info has been around for some time. For example, that there is only limited inventory space in Warzone 2. The leaked return of the MW2 map Highrise in Warzone 2 has also been known for a while. However, Metaphor also reveals some new things. For example, the gas circuit is to be replaced.

  • NPCs are randomly distributed on the map
  • Loot lies on the ground or in containers
  • Different sizes for backpacks (inventory)
  • New orders
  • Helicopter on high rise can be used
  • No more toxic gas delimiting the zone. Instead, it’s now a sandstorm
  • Car tires can be shot through

Are the leaks credible? Most of Metaphor’s leaks coincide with what has also been spread by other insiders in recent months. So we rate the leaks as credible. However, as always, use the information with caution. It will still be a few months before Warzone 2 is released and a lot can still change. If you want to learn more about the future of Warzone 2, don’t miss the Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Reveal. The Warzone successor will probably also be discussed there.
