If this is covered by the guarantee, the repair is completely free of charge. However, if the warranty does not apply, you will probably be contacted by Valve and offered a repair for a fee. Valve describes in the post which situations are covered by the warranty. For example, if input problems occur with the Steam Deck, the affected key will be replaced at the repair center free of charge, the device will be recalibrated and sent back. However, if your own pet nibbles and damages the analog stick, a repair is offered at an additional cost.
