Rhaenyra should make a decision

House of the Dragon picks up where it left off. princess Rhaenyra should finally get engaged – but among the applicants there is no suitable candidate for her. Unconsciously, however, she seems to have a template for how her future husband should be. It refers to Uncle Daemon, who happens to be returning to town with a fresh haircut. For his Niece to take his mind off things, he spends the night with her in the city. It’s abundantly clear that the two have a thing for each other, which is why it’s the kiss comes. But Daemon ends the matter first – before it escalates further. However, it is not entirely clear why he did it. For Rhaenyra, the night doesn’t end there. Upon her arrival at home, she unceremoniously seduces Ser Criston Cole. The visit to the brothel with Daemon still has something for the princess – despite the disguise – later consequences.

The king learns the truth

Rhaenyra was in her snogging discovered with Daemon – and of course has King Viserys already heard about it. Daemon finally puts all the cards on the table and asks for one Betrothal to Rhaenyra. However, it does not come to that. The king rejects the offer and sends Daemon back. A little later, the princess convinces her father that Otto Hightower (King’s right hand) to dump her – in return she promises him to take care of the engagement take care of.
