Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will soon be getting its beta, but which version is worth it for you and which one are you with on Friday? We will show you everything important in an overview and give you a short consultation.

When does the beta for CoD MW2 start? The beta for Modern Warfare 2 will start on September 16th. On this date, however, only pre-orders can start on the PlayStation for the time being. After that, a few more days have to pass before the open beta for the Sony consoles starts on September 18th.

For whom is the edition worthwhile? The cross-gen bundle is particularly worthwhile for players who enjoy the campaign and the multiplayer mode. You even benefit from pre-ordering two additional operator bundles, which you get on top of that for multiplayer.

So if you’re keen on MW2 but want to put the game through its paces first, this would be your version.

Vault edition

For whom is the edition worthwhile? This bunker version is mainly worthwhile for players who live in multiplayer mode. So pre-orderers will be inundated with a bunch of goodies for PvP. Skin and Operator packs, as well as the first Battle Pass and even 50 tier skips if you don’t manage to complete the Battle Pass.

So if you’re excited about Modern Warfare 2 anyway and want to benefit from all the bonuses, the Vault Edition is the right one for you.

Keep this in mind: Note, however, that the bonuses of the pre-order editions may expire if the shooter starts the official release.
