At the VideoDays, Trymacs was awarded “Best Streamer”. However, he could not resist taunting the competition.

Cologne – The VideoDays, the award event that regularly honors influencers, twitch streamers and YouTube stars for their work, have been paused for five years. From September 6th to 7th, the event took place for the first time since 2018. Workshops, stage programs and lectures were held as part of the two-day event. At the end of the event, a jury awarded various prizes for special achievements. In addition to Trymacs, some of the biggest German YouTubers and streamers were among the nominees and winners.

What are the VideoDays? A few years ago, the VideoDays were an important event in the German YouTube scene. Veterans like Y-Titty, Gronkh or the outsiders regularly took part in the event, which often even took place parallel to Gamescom. But the event paused for five years and returned to the event location “Halle Tor 2” in Cologne in 2022. Overall, the VideoDays (now called the “VideoDays Festival”) lasted two days, at the end of which a jury selected content creators for special achievements. The show was broadcast on Joyn.

Who won? Gnu, HandOfBlood and KeinPart2, among others, were nominated in the “Gaming” category. In addition to Trymacs, Gnu and HandOfBlood were again nominated in the “Best Streaming” category. While HandofBlood was able to secure the award in the “Gaming” category, Trymacs won the award in the “Best Streaming” category. Papaplatte, on the other hand, won the award in the “Lifestyle and Entertainment” category.

Trymacs throws a dig at MontanaBlack and EliasN97: Trymacs posted photos from the awards show on Instagram, showing him proudly holding the prize. He just wrote: “Best Streamer Germany Award won!“, and in the same breath tagged MontanaBlack and EliasN97 under the post, both streamers that have a lot more range than Trymacs. Trymacs obviously couldn’t resist this cheeky dig. However, EliasN97 responded with an equally tongue-in-cheek comment: “Are you sure you bought it, like your gameskills.MontanaBlack has not yet responded to the post.

What is the community saying? Trymac’s community seems very happy for the streamer under his Instagram post. The dig at EliasN97 and MontanaBlack is also celebrated by the fans.

Trymacs on course for success: In general, things are going pretty well for Trymacs at the moment. The streamer only founded his own football club at the beginning of the year and also took part in the Eligella Cup 2 by streamer EliasN97. His podcast “Offline + Ehrlich” also reached number 1 in the podcast charts last year. With this award, Trymacs continues its success story.
