Jan Böhmermann shared a clip in the style of a Twitch streamer on Instagram. It looks like the presenter will once again deal with the topic tonight in the ZDF Magazin Royale.

This is the announcement: Of the official Instagram account ZDF Magazin Royale shared a post in which Jan Böhmermann announced today’s show – but not in a suit as usual, but with a sleeveless shirt, gold chain and cap.

The whole thing is obviously a nod to Twitch streamers – complete with microphone, gaming chair, background music and “glump” energy drink.

When is the ZDF Magazin Royale running today?

When is the show on? You can watch the program from 8:00 p.m. in the ZDF media library, at 11:00 p.m. it also runs on the ZDF main program. Böhmermann calls this in the video “Twitch for all cool people over 60”.

Why is? That’s not entirely clear yet. In the comments, users are already comparing the performance with MontanaBlack, asking whether “Kylo and Big Mac” are also there and jokingly expecting face tattoos for Böhmermann.

You see the allusion as a hint that tonight’s show could be about MontanaBlack. “Big Mac” was a well-known mod by MontanaBlack, but they parted ways in August.

It is still unclear what exactly the show will be about. However, the hashtag for the show is “#huchgeldalle” – which is why some users are already expecting the topics of casino streams or NFT.

In the video, Böhmermann says: “Tonight is a good topic. That’s why I can only recommend everyone to tune in properly tonight, into the linear ghost train. I don’t want to reveal too much just yet, but it will be ‘brake lights’. I can see more and more people coming in. Come in, if there’s enough in there, let’s get started”.

In the video description, the ZDF Magazin Royale also speaks of “tonight stream on very relaxed” and “dirt, who does not switch on”. That sounds a lot like “Monte”.

Böhmermann also looked at the topic of online gambling in the ZDF Magazin Royale in November 2020 and criticized the Twitch streamer Knossi.
