Raptor Lake at 6 GHz is up to 41 percent faster than Alder Lake
With no embargo, Intel showed a slide at Tech Day in Tel Aviv, Israel, claiming that Raptor Lake is capable of running at 6GHz on default settings. Also that a model of the next CPU generation has set a world record for overclocking at 8 GHz – but with liquid nitrogen. Intel also announced initial performance predictions for single and multi-threaded performance.
Robert Hallock is leaving AMD after 12 years
In addition to CEO Lisa Su, Robert Hallock was probably the most well-known AMD manager. The previous Technical Marketing Director has now left the company. On his profile on the business network LinkedIn, Robert Hallock has announced that he has left AMD after more than 12 years to “explore new opportunities and experiences”. AMD and mainboard partners will show the B650/B650E in early October
The stage for Ryzen 7000 is set: On 27.9. the sale of the first four CPUs starts, at the same time the slightly more expensive motherboards with the X670 and X670E go on sale.
