Everything about the beta phases in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II – How to get involved!

What is the new Call of Duty? Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is the upcoming and highly coveted game of the popular shooter series in 2022. Infinity Ward are again at the start as developers. They were already involved in Modern Warfare from 2019 and continue the story from there. So you can finally look forward to a sequel to this exciting story.

The release will take place on October 28, 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Good news for Steam fans: For the first time, the launch of a Call of Duty game also back on Steam take place.

This is how the beta works

We have good news for those who want to gamble now: The Modern Warfare II beta will take place in different phases. They run as follows:

• September 16-17: This beta is an early access, but only for PlayStation players
• September 18-20: The open beta for players on the PlayStation begins
• September 22-23: This is where Early Access for PC and Xbox begins. At the same time, the open beta for the PlayStation takes place. Crossplay will be possible.
• September 24th to 26th: The time has finally come – the open beta for all platforms is live and everyone can gamble without a key.

The respective phases begin at 7:00 p.m. our time.

Is there a preload? Yes, but only for PlayStation players. You can get the beta in advance on September 14, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. and get started right away at the start on September 16. You must have pre-ordered the game for this to work.

How do I get access? Beta access to the closed betas is only available if you have a key. You’re guaranteed to get it if you pre-order the game. So if you definitely want to gamble the new Call of Duty, you should pre-order now.

What’s in the beta? The developers have so far confirmed that the regular 6vs6 multiplayer occurs on various maps. In addition to the 6vs6 multiplayer in several typical Call of Duty game modes, the beta also offers a surprise that the developers have not revealed yet.
