Because red dots, which marked shooting opponents on the map, were already removed from the multiplayer in the beta.

It changes: As in Call of Duty Vanguard, red dots are no longer visible on the multiplayer minimap unless a UAV is active. In previous parts you could also locate enemies on the minimap if they shot without a silencer. This made using the minimap an essential part of the game and gave experienced players a huge advantage.

The concern among the players is now great that the red dots will not make it into the game for the official release either. This assumption is also reinforced by the fact that Infinity decided against implementing the minimap feature in Modern Warfare (2019), even though players wanted it badly even then. By the way, a new weapon can already be unlocked in the beta of Modern Warfare 2, you just have to use a little trick to do this.
