Splinter Cell Remake: Story is adapted for modern audiences

Activision Blizzard: Phil Spencer pleased with acquisition progress

Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell Remake will come with a story adapted from the original for modern audiences.

Ubisoft Toronto is currently recruiting for the Splinter Cell Remake development team. A new scriptwriter is needed whose job it will be to adapt the story of the original 2002 game for a modern audience. In the vacancy it says as follows:

“Based on the first Splinter Cell game, we’re rewriting the story and updating it for a modern audience.”

“We want to keep the spirit and themes of the original game while examining our characters and the world to make them more authentic and believable.”

“As a scriptwriter at Ubisoft Toronto, you will join the Narrative team and help create a cohesive and engaging narrative experience for a new audience of Splinter Cell fans.”

In December last year, Creative Director Chris Auty, Producer Matt West and Technical Producer Peter Handrinos spoke in detail about their vision for the Splinter Cell Remake in an interview.
