Pokémon GO: Schlingking is the next ultra beast for raids – video shows release note
In Pokémon GO you can soon look forward to a new Ultra Beast: Gling King. The developers have hidden a note about the release in their latest video. We at MeinMMO will tell you when it could finally be time.
What monster is it about? After several Ultra Beasts have already found their way into Pokémon GO in recent months, there should be another one soon. So you can look forward to Schlingking next.
The trainers already suspected that the Ultra Beast of the Dark and Dragon type would be one of the next monsters in the game. You can already find your shadow on the start screen and some trainers were also able to discover it in the puzzles for the Season of Light.
However, the developers of Pokémon GO have now posted a video that gives further indications of a release. We show you when the monster could come into play.
What are Ultra Beasts?
The Ultra Beasts are mysterious Pokémon from another dimension. They get into the world of Pokémon GO with the help of Ultragates that resemble wormholes.

Which video is it about? Today, September 26, 2022, a new video was posted on the Pokémon GO German Twitter account. This is captioned “UPDATE: UB-05 WOLVERINE Our analysis of the return of ‘UB-05 Wolverine’ is complete. You can find the details in the video.”
The title already gives the first indication that the video is about Schlingking. The monster is also known as UB-05 Wolverine. In contrast to the other videos of this type, you will find a short review in this one.
First of all, Niantic shows a compilation of the other ultra beasts in the game and their respective release dates. Finally, Schlingking can also be seen as the last sequence. In this one you can see a number of people standing in front of a fence and filming the ultra beast. Meanwhile, Schlingking devours concrete pillars.
At the end of the video, part of the release date is also shown here. So you can read the following in the video: “‘UB-05 wolverine’ 11.??.”
When will the release be? If you compare the date given with the release times of the other Ultra Beasts before, it quickly becomes clear that this is the American date format. In contrast to German, the month is mentioned first and then the day.
Thus, the release date of Schlingking points to November. However, the exact day is not yet clear from the video. So when exactly that will happen remains to be seen for the time being.
Where will Schlingking be found then? Since the previous Ultra Beasts, like Anego, were found in the level 5 raids, it stands to reason that Glingking will also dominate them in November. However, more details must be awaited for the time being.
What kind of Pokemon is Grawler?
Schlingking is an ultra beast from the 7th generation of games. She belongs to the Dark and Dragon types. Schlingking does not have any advance or further development.
You can recognize the monster by its large black body, long arms and large mouth. This is surrounded by huge, gold-colored teeth and glows blue when open.
