Star Wars: There should be a new game every 6 months!
Disney and Lucasfilm Games appear to have big plans for the future of star Wars. In a current Report by Tom Henderson it says that one future every six months want to publish a game in the sci-fi universe. It should always be about the details an AAA title as well as at a small project act. That makes it possible Termination of the exclusive contract with Electronic Arts, which means that other studios can now also be commissioned with new games.
Several Star Wars games on the way
In fact, several projects in the world of Star Wars have been presented in recent months. One of the highlights was the remake of Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars: Eclipse or Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – the direct sequel to Fallen Order, which is due out next year. Ubisoft Massive – the makers of The Division – are also working on one Open World Title in the sci-fi universe. Henderson provided an overview of which games are currently in development:

More announcements on the way
According to the insider, however, these are obviously not all projects that are planned. So we can expect more games in the future. It will also be exciting to see whether the strategy will work for Disney. In the cinema, too – starting with Episode 7 in 2015 – they wanted to bring new films to the screen on a regular basis. Then, after Solo: A Star Wars Story fell short of expectations, they paused after Episode 9.
