PlayStation Plus: These are the free games for October

For PS5 and PS4 there are small speedsters on plastic tracks in October. Hot Wheels Unleashed, the main title for both platforms, will be available to Essential subscribers on October 4th. In the licensed racer for the well-known children’s toy, mini muscle cars race on the iconic orange plastic track. There is also a track editor that allows you to design your own circuits.

The first of the two mandatory PS4 games in the PS Plus Essential lineup for October 2022 is superhero brawler Injustice 2 from NetherRealm Studios. In an epic, strongly staged story, the DC squad fights through a series of villains, plus good multiplayer and the mutiverse mode. In the 4Players test in 2017 it was enough for 86% and gold.

SUPER HOT

The third title in the October 2022 bundle for PS Plus Essential is the shooter SUPERHOT. Here, in a stylized environment, the player must skillfully dodge enemy projectiles and eliminate the red villains. The highlight: time only moves on when you move. In 2016, the mixture of action and time puzzles was 85% in the 4Players test and worth the gold award.
