Twitch: MontanaBlack takes part in the Wok World Cup – takes “Ballermann-Benner” Knossi and Trymacs with it

Some of the biggest German twitch streamers will be present at the ProSieben Wok World Cup: above all MontanaBlack: In a twitch stream he had indicated participation months ago, but it was still ironic. He said he didn’t feel like it at all. Especially not with a “Ballermann bum” like Knossi. In addition to the two, Trymacs and Unsympathisch.Tv will also be sitting in the wok.

What is the Wok World Cup? That was a show that was initiated by Stefan Raab and that Pro7 then pulled through 13 times. It ran from 2003 to 2015.

In principle, it’s like tobogganing, only with a wok: a device that is usually used for cooking.

More or less prominent people tobogganed down the track in a wok. For the over-ambitious Stefan Raab, it was another opportunity to go head-to-head with rival Joey Kelly. In the end, however, the luger Georg Hackl always won.

This is the gag now: The streamers knew months ago that they would be taking part in the Wok World Cup, but kept it a secret for a long time.

MontanaBlack and Knossi already talked about it in a Twitch stream 2 months ago.

Then Knossi asked his friend MontanaBlack what it would be like if they drove at the Wok World Championship. MontanaBlack flatly denied this, though he gets muddled at the beginning and almost lets the cat out of the bag

“How will the Wok World Cup be for us? – I see. If we – ah, nope. I can’t imagine that as shit. So if I were, I’d go there with cool people, not you. […] It’s show over for you, brother. You’re not in the hype anymore. You’ve become a Ballermann bum.”

Montana Black to Knossi

The names of Trymacs and Unsympathisch.tv are both mentioned. Apparently, Knossi and MontanaBlack had their fun back then, knowing something that would only become public months later.

There is an interesting interaction between TV and Twitch. Knossi has managed to celebrate great success with TV-like events on Twitch in recent years.
