Railgrade: Fancy Railroad Sim will only appear on Epic Games and not on Steam

Railgrade is a management sim in which railroads must be used to transport resources to ensure the supply of industry on an offworld colony. The player takes on the role of an administrator of the planet and has to restore industrial production after a major catastrophe and infrastructure collapse. However, Railgrade only appears exclusively in the Epic Games Store – Steam users are left out.

How does Railgrade play?

In Railgrade the player builds complicated railroad networks. This is how you use trains to connect the important industry with the required resources. Overall production wants to be streamlined, so manage inputs and outputs and create efficient supply chains with multi-level tracks and a variety of unique, retro-sci-fi themed locomotives. The player must balance creative constructions with strategically correct decisions so that the industrial colony can flourish again. The single player campaign includes more than 50 missions. In each mission you get new unlockable industries, upgrades and options.

The construction tools at the player’s disposal are easy to learn and use, allowing you to build a complex rail network full of trains in no time at all. Your own trains can be customized with various locomotives and cargo types. The developer promises hundreds of unique locomotive and cargo combinations. As the administrator of the colony you have to invest in the growth of the cities and can even use blimps to export goods and thus make further profits.

When everything is as it should be, you can also view your designs from the perspective of a locomotive using the cinematic view mode, or use the photo mode with a variety of filters and visual options. Railgrade is currently available for a discounted price of just $18 via the Epic Games Store.
