No Man’s Sky comes to Nintendo Switch along with update 4.0 this October 7

Hello Games' new project is much bigger than No Man's Sky, GamersRD

No Man’s Sky had been delayed several times for Nintendo’s hybrid console but now we will have a confirmed release along with new content arriving together on October 7.

In statements to Eurogamer, Murray said: “Normally, when we increase version numbers, we add a new platform… 2.0 was Xbox, 3.0 was VR, 4.0 is Switch… and we take the time to review the fundamentals of the game. a little… It’s a moment where we can do that, where we feel like we have to because we’re going to have new players, starting over.

“For me, this update is for if you said, ‘Look, I played No Man’s Sky and I wanted to love it, but I put it off a little bit because it was kind of boring, [o] if you said ‘I want to go back, but it’s been years and there’s been so many updates and it feels overwhelming’… You’ve probably had this experience where you come to a game where a ton has been updated and… sometimes those [elementos ] they don’t fit together as cohesively as you’d like. We hear this sometimes, and I think it’s true… and what we’ve done [en 4.0] it’s that we’ve revised a lot of things that are impactful from a design perspective.”

As a result, the 4.0 update will optimize many tutorials along with “when you unlock certain things, what is available to you”. The level cap is also being “massively increased”, which means bigger inventories and being able to level up more ships and weapons than before.

No Man’s Sky is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC
