For the forthcoming remake of the roughly 14-year-old DeadSpace a video was released by the developer studio showing official gameplay scenes for the first time, giving you a rough idea of the survival horror title’s overhaul.
You can see, among other things, how the protagonist Isaac Clarke enters and explores the spaceship Ishimura and encounters small and large enemies. Scenes in weightlessness or short excerpts from some cut scenes are also presented to you in the almost two and a half minute long video. At the end of the trailer, you can also hear the main character speak – another change compared to the original.
Dead Space is expected to be available for Windows, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in late January. A few days ago we reported that the title, which is based on the Frostbyte engine, does not need camera cuts or loading screens and, for example, the system for dismembering opponents has been revised, making the fights feel “more dynamic and strategic”.
