Bring your heating to where you need warmth: Electrically operated radiators are mobile and easy to use.

Whether hobby room, guest toilet, garage, holiday apartment or the hut in the allotment garden – you can use a radiator in many places. The devices have wheels or carrying handles and can be placed flexibly. There are particularly compact models for sporadic use in small rooms.

The maximum heat output is 500 watts with dimensions of 173 x 340 x 385 millimeters (width x height x depth) and a weight of just over 5 kilograms. Although the TRNS 050.M is very compact, it has a large heating surface. This allows the heat to spread quickly throughout the room.

Can radiators also look chic? Of the The HOR801 from Blaupunkt proves that. However, the blue side surfaces are not purely a decorative element; special air tunnels are hidden behind them. These intensify the convection effect, in which cold room air is drawn in and warmed and released, thus improving heat dissipation.
The ten-rib device with its 2,500 watts heats rooms up to 25 square meters. The LC display is practical, on which you can make all the settings, adjust the electronic thermostat or the timer. A remote control is also included.

Special air channels ensure that the Kesser radiator distributes the heat particularly quickly. Here, too, the convection effect is intensified. You set the desired temperature in four stages up to 2,500 watts. If necessary, you can use the eco mode, in which the radiator switches off after a selected temperature has been reached.

What is a radiator heater?
Radiators are mobile, electrically operated heating elements that are filled with oil. The heated oil gives off its heat via so-called fins. The rib design provides a larger heating surface, which increases the efficiency of the heating.
Important to know for allergy sufferers: Compared to convectors, radiators stir up little dust.
What you should consider when buying a radiator
Radiators are suitable as additional heating and for sporadic use as the sole heat source in small to medium-sized rooms where there are no conventional radiators. The electrically operated devices are not intended for continuous operation as sole heating.
When buying a radiator you should consider the following aspects:
Security: The device should have overheating protection and an automatic safety shutdown.
More functions: Radiators have a thermostat to set the temperature. A practical additional feature that most current models have is a timer for programming.
Fan: Devices with fans direct the heat into the room faster and distribute it better, the desired room temperature is reached more quickly. Radiators without a fan, on the other hand, require a heating-up phase and initially release the heat more slowly.
