The next Need for Speed 2022 will be revealed this October 6, 2022
The next Need for Speed will finally be revealed on October 6 at 8am PT/5pm CEST. We don’t have any further details, though Electronic Arts touts this as the “evolution” of Criterion Games’ Need for Speed.
Rumors have been running rampant about the title for several months. It’s reportedly called Need for Speed Unbound and takes place in Lake Shore City, a new location based in Chicago.
The art style also uses anime aesthetics – how this ultimately plays out is unknown, but the leaked game has shown a car with animated wings sprouting after a jump.

Apparently, the next Need for Speed is out on December 2nd, and will reportedly release on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC (not previous-gen consoles, unfortunately).
