You only need a friend and 10 minutes for two of the rarest Steam achievements in Lost Ark

There are many rare achievements in Lost Ark, but rare doesn’t mean they’re hard to get. You can even manage two of the rarest ones in less than 10 minutes, as long as there are two of you. We’ll show you how it works.

What are the achievements? It’s about the two Steam achievements “Perfect Victory” and “Thrown in the Towel”. One of them even has an achievement that also exists in the game itself. Both successes give nothing in their rarity. Only 0.01% of Lost Ark players have solved them, although they are actually very easy.

For the perfect victory you have to win 10 player duels without taking any damage at all. That sounds pretty difficult at first, but the second success reveals half the trick. Because for “Throw in the towel” you have to win 10 duels by your opponent giving up.

Grab a fellow player and 10 minutes: All you have to do for both achievements is find an accomplice who wants to achieve the same thing. Via Ctrl + right click on the opposite you open the character menu and asks for a duel.

The other then accepts and the duel begins. Now only one of the two has to open his chat and give up the duel with the command /gg. If you’ve both done this 10 times each, you’ll get two of the rarest achievements in Lost Ark.

Why are the achievements so rare? The feature of duels is simply very unknown in Lost Ark and is hardly used. The reason for this is that the duels take place in the open world and on the spot. They are also limited only by an outer ring and are not normalized.

So there are several reasons why it is not a sensible showdown if you invite your opponent to a duel. As an alternative, Lost Ark also offers the Arena. There you can create personal matches, fight against each other without disturbances and with normalized values.

So the achievements aren’t that rare because they’re so hard, but rather because the feature is rarely used by players.

How long does this work? While there’s not much sportiness in sneaking up the “perfect win” this way, it’s unlikely to be duplicated. In our opinion, you don’t have to rush to collect the achievements.

Does that bring anything? The achievement you get from your enemy surrendering also has an in-game achievement. This brings you nothing, except a few experience points for your squad. Still, it’s something you can cross off your long to-do list.
