WoW: The Super XP buff is active – now prepare your characters for Dragonflight

Experience points are now raining down in World of Warcraft. If you can, you should now urgently bring many characters to level 60.

Character leveling is an activity that divides players into two camps in World of Warcraft. For some, leveling is the best part and the reason you play. Others find the leveling completely annoying and just hope it’s over as soon as possible so that you can enjoy the “real” content in the endgame.

A strong buff is now active for the latter group. Because right now there’s a lot of experience points in World of Warcraft.

What is this buff? There is currently a strong XP boost for all characters between level 10 and level 59. The Wind of Wisdom buff grants a whopping 50% experience bonus to all experience gained. This applies to experience from quests as well as completing PvP battlegrounds, dungeons or exploring. This means that characters can be brought to the maximum level in almost 33% less time.

Incidentally, the buff can also be combined with other XP buffs. For example, you can still get the bonus from the Darkmoon Faire.

How long is it active? The exact duration of the buff is not yet known. However, it is clear that the buff will not be active until the launch of Dragonflight. Because at the latest with the publication of the Rufer, which appear during the pre-patch 10.0, the buff will be deactivated again. So you can probably benefit from the buff for another 3-5 weeks before it disappears again.

Why should you do this? With Dragonflight, the classes are being overhauled quite extensively. This is mainly due to the new talent system with “classic” talent trees. The selection is so large that you can create several different playstyles even within a specialization. So it’s quite possible that with Dragonflight you’ll suddenly find yourself enjoying a class whose playstyle you didn’t like at all before. So it pays to have all the classes to choose from in advance.

So if you still want to prepare heroes for Dragonflight, you should go to Azeroth (and the shadow lands) now so that you can be ready for the Dragon Islands at the end of November with the maximum number of heroes.
