A Plague Tale: Requiem shows off crossbow use in new trailer

FocusEntertainment has released a short new trailer for A Plague Tale: Requiem of Asobo Studio, which focuses on the use of the crossbow. A new addition to Amicia’s arsenal, it is used to shoot enemies from afar while sneaking around. However, it’s also good at medium range against tougher enemies.

The crossbow also uses rope arrows, which can knock down environmental objects when shot, and fire arrows, which ignite enemies. Bolts will be in short supply, so we may need to use them in situations that require it. However, it is a powerful tool that should complement the use of stealth and alchemy.

A Plague Tale: Requiem It’s due out on October 18 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch via the cloud. It will also come to Game Pass at launch and will take 15-18 hours to complete. System requirements have also been revealed, with 55 GB of installation space required. You can see the trailer below.
