This cheap model from Xiaomi is available for less than 200 euros and is therefore a real bargain. For this price you get a vacuum cleaning robot that is equipped with a laser distance sensor and real-time mapping, and therefore navigates systematically through your home. This saves time and frustration because it prevents the Vacuum-Mop 2S always drives aimlessly through the same corners or gets stuck in a room. In addition, Xiaomi offers a companion app that leaves nothing to be desired. Here you can define no-go zones, plan cleaning routines and optimize the map created by the robot. If you connect a language assistant such as Alexa or the Google Assistant, the device even responds to calls.
Suction power, size of the dirt container and the water tank are solid average. So the robot from Xiaomi pulls coarse crumbs out of a carpet, but fails, for example, to wipe away encrusted dirt. In addition, the robot does not recognize carpets by itself. Before mopping, you should therefore define restricted areas in the app so that you do not ruin your carpets. A simple basic cleaning is easy with this vacuum cleaning robot. If you expect more, we recommend the models further down in this list.
Eufy RoboVac X8: The Enduring One
He can do a good three hours RoboVac X8 sucking from Eufy. Not every vacuum cleaning robot on the market offers this and is therefore a plus point. Apart from that, it offers all the standards that a good automatic vacuum wiper should have: It measures the rooms in your home using a laser, automatically creates a map and can be controlled by an app or by voice assistant. The dust chamber is slightly larger than on the Xiaomi model. The container does not have to be emptied quite as often. Another highlight are the two built-in motors, which ensure proper suction power.
When it comes to swiping, however, Xiaomi and Eufy hardly differ. With this device, too, a microfiber cloth is attached to the corresponding attachment on the bottom of the robot, through which water seeps from a water tank. You can set how much water the device should use for a floor. However, the robot vacuum cleaner cannot exert enough pressure, so that even with the Eufy model, only basic cleaning is possible and not the removal of dried stains. The RoboVac X8 does not automatically detect carpet either. In terms of price, the device is in the midfield at just under 400 euros.

The carpet detection also ensures that the robot automatically increases the suction power when it encounters such a floor. Another plus: The suction power is higher and the dust container is larger than in the models presented so far. Of course, the Roborock S7 also measures your home with a laser and creates a map that you can edit via the app. A link with a language assistant of your choice is also possible.
Ecovacs Deebot T9 AIVI: Especially good for carpets
For another 100 euros more Ecovacs Deebot T9 AIVI available: This vacuum cleaning robot is equipped with two main brushes to transport dirt from the floor into the dust container. The system is called AeroForce and comes from robot manufacturer iRobot. The advantage: Hair does not get tangled around the rollers, which significantly reduces the cleaning effort. The Deebot T9 AIVI is particularly helpful for households where animal hair accumulates.
However, since the double brush needs space, the volume of the dust and water container is smaller. But this robot also recognizes carpets automatically and thus prevents them from getting wet. Just like with the Roborock, the wiping plate also vibrates and ensures more thorough cleaning than with the inexpensive entry-level models. With the Deebot T9 AIVI, buyers get a good wiping robot that also has carpet expertise.
DreameBot W10 Pro: Brilliant mopping

This dusting robot comes with a well-equipped cleaning station in your home. Here he can not only load, he also cleans and dries his mops automatically after wiping. The model automatically recognizes carpets, avoids them when wiping and increases its performance when vacuuming. In terms of suction power, the robot has a lot more to offer than the models presented so far.

The only disadvantages of the vacuum cleaning robot: The home station is large, but it can only clean the mops and not automatically empty the dust container. The mop on the floor of the robot is also wrung out as soon as the vacuum finds its way into the station. The suction power of the cleaner is more than twice as high as that of our price-performance winner from Xiaomi. When wiping, the plate vibrates with the mop and can also remove stubborn dirt. Carpets are recognized and avoided.
The integrated camera of the luxury robot fulfills two functions: On the one hand, the MaxV Ultra recognizes small obstacles, on the other hand, you can access the camera via an app and monitor your home. However, this cleaning devil, which works almost completely independently, has its price: the model costs around 1,400 euros. You also have to make room for the large charging station of the device.
