Battlefield 2042: Update 2.1.1 improves weapon balancing
Update 2.1.1 brings improved weapon balancing and other adjustments to the shooter Battlefield 2042.
Starting today, update 2.1.1 is available for the Battlefield 2042 shooter, which focuses on usability adjustments and firefight improvements. For this purpose, some bugs will be eliminated and the balancing of the weapons Avancys, K30, MP9, M16A3 and M60E4 will be adjusted.

General
- Disabling mouse raw input in settings no longer disables in-game mouse movement
cards
- Fresh Start – Sometimes it was possible to deploy in the first sector of US HQ under the map. That doesn’t happen anymore
- Fresh Start – Fixed several areas on Conquest 64 so that you are no longer incorrectly displayed as “Off the Field”.
weapons
- Sustained fire while using a controller sometimes messed up recoil synchronization between client and server. As a result, shots missed even though they actually hit. This issue has been resolved
- The AC-42 sight can be reused in the standard slot after equipping the UH-1 Smart 1.5x scope
- Fixed an issue where the grid of the UH-1 Smart 1.5x scope was missing on the AC-42
- Archival weapons now get the correct recoil reduction on console
- Archive weapon draw speed now matches weapons in All-Out Warfare
- Fixed an issue where gamers could not activate ADS after exiting a moving vehicle if the equipped weapon had an underbarrel extension. This bug reappeared even though we had already done a fix. Please let us know if you continue to notice after this update.
- The M16A3 now has the correct headshot multiplier for Assault Rifles (2.15x)
Avancys
The Avancys was very accurate and, together with its large magazine, was clearly too powerful in continuous fire. We have therefore reduced its precision.
- Base recoil increased: 0.32 -> 0.36
- Spread per shot increased: 0.03 -> 0.06
K30
The K30 is intended to be a short-range SMG and was too accurate at medium ranges. As a result, accuracy at range has been reduced.
- Min spread angle increased: 0.15 -> 0.18
- Spread per shot increased: 0.09 -> 0.15
- Reduced spread falloff: 20 -> 4
MP9
The MP9 is also intended for short range, and like the K30, accuracy has been reduced to reduce effectiveness at medium ranges.
- Spread per shot increased: 0.06 -> 0.11
- Min spread angle increased: 0.14 -> 0.17
M16A3
The performance of the M16A3 did not match the other assault rifles. To compensate, the recoil has been reduced and the accuracy of the continuous fire has been increased.
- Base recoil reduced: 0.44 -> 0.36
- First shot recoil multiplier reduced: 1.45 -> 1.15
- ADS dispersion per shot reduced: 0.13 -> 0.1
M60E4
The performance of the M60E4 did not match the other LMGs. To compensate, the recoil has been reduced and the accuracy of the continuous fire has been increased.
- Base recoil reduced: 0.6 -> 0.54
- ADS dispersion per shot reduced: 0.22 -> 0.17
- Graded recoil multiplier reduced to 4 from 6 bullets
- Damage increased at all ranges
