FIFA 23: Players celebrate crazy good striker for 13,000 coins – Perfect in early teams

Haaland, Benzema, Ronaldo – the list of top strikers in FIFA 23 is long. But an unusual striker is also causing enthusiasm: Eldor Shomurodov.

What kind of player is this? Eldor Shomurodov is a forward from Uzbekistan who plays for AS Roma in Italy’s Serie A. In FIFA 23, this is Roma FC.

Normally, Shomurdov only has a 75 gold card with not so strong stats. But in TOTW 2 he was given an 84 card straight away – and it’s really, really good.

Shomurodov not only has a very strong finish, but also decent dribbling and good speed. Particularly strong: With the “Architect” chemistry style, he falls into the “Lengthy” category with three chemistry points – so he’s really fast.

Above all, Shomurodov scores with a very reasonable price. The TOTW card is currently around 13,000 coins and can sometimes be bought even cheaper. This is probably related to the combination of a Serie A player and the nationality of Uzbekistan – because that makes Shomurodov not so easy to bring to full chemistry.

But if you have a few Serie A players in your squad, you should consider signing them. Shomurodov fits perfectly as a strong, cheap Forward in teams that shouldn’t cost extremely many coins.

So far, Shomurodov has not been a big name in FIFA. But that seems to be changing slowly.

What players say: On the platform futbin many players are out and about discussing cards, tracking prizes and the like. There you can also sort player cards by “popularity”.

Leaving out the icons, only four attackers rank ahead of Shomurodov in the forward popularity rankings:

• Arnaut Danjuma, who came into play via a very good SBC
• Erling Haaland
• Cristiano Ronaldo
• Karim Benzema

Especially at the NextGen, where the AcceleRATE factor with the different running types is decisive, it is worth taking a look at Shomurodov. However, some players also emphasize that they don’t get along so well with him – he is too cumbersome for them. Also, he’s only 3 stars on the weak foot and on skills – so he’s not much of a trickster.

But if you’re building an offense that relies on passing and needs a decent target striker to finish, then Shomurodov could be just what you’re looking for. In any case, the risk is low: Even in quick sell, you still get around 10,000 coins for the card if Shomurodov doesn’t work.
