Cyberpunk story is expanded with book and the cover just looks phenomenal good

We can dive back into the world of Cyberpunk 2077 sooner than expected.

While Edgerunners is making waves on Netflix and has boosted the Cyberpunk 2077 player base again, CD Projekt Red has announced something new from the universe. A novel entitled Cyberpunk 2077: No Coincidence should be out next August.

That’s what the novel is about

The game’s book is written by Polish science fiction author Rafał Kosik and is set, of course, in Night City. There, the novel accompanies a group of strangers, as can be read in the tweet, who discover the dangers of the futuristic, run-down city. The cover of the book has also been unveiled and we think it looks really great.

Unfortunately, CD Projekt has not yet released much more information. Just apart from the fact that it is at No Coincidence is really a novel and not a graphic novel. In addition, the Twitter account indicates in the comments that the book is planned in several languages, whether all of them are official Released in August 2023 will be available, but is also still open.

Release on Arasaka HQ ​​Bombing Day?

As fans of the cyberpunk universe know, on August 20th, 2023, Johnny Silverhand and his allies blew up the Arasaka Tower in Night City with a nuclear bomb, causing an absolute disaster. Of course, that’s just speculation at this point.

That comes next in the cyberpunk world

The next big highlight in the game awaits us in 2023, when Phantom Liberty, the first and only story DLC for Cyberpunk 2077, will appear.

As far as is known, we also accompany V and Johnny here and jump back into the middle of the main story. This time, however, as an executive force of the US government. The addon will only appear on the current-gen consoles PS5, Xbox Series X/S and the PC. As with most of the last patches, PS4 and Xbox One get nothing.

As was also announced last week, CD Projekt Red is already planning a sequel to 2077, which is still at an extremely early stage. At this moment of pre-production it is called “Project Orion”. Of course, there is nothing about a possible release yet, but we will have to be patient for a few more years.
