WoW: Dragonflight: Pre-Patch Event PTR Tests Underway…Starting Today!
Before WoW: Dragonflight celebrates its release on November 29th, we will be presented with the pre-patch including various events for a few weeks. Testing of these events begins tonight (10/14/2022) on the PTR.
Before we plunge into the new adventure of an expansion in WoW, the pre-patch is usually in the house. It’s no different with WoW: Dragonflight. We are given several weeks to get used to class changes and new mechanics with our heroes. This is particularly important when moving towards the Dragon Islands, because the classes have rarely been revised in this way – if only because of the new, dual talent trees.
But we should also be prepared for the new expansion in terms of story: with various events. Sometimes it was the great plague, sometimes the invasion of the Legion and before Dragonflight it will be storms and elementalists that will haunt our homeland and give us enough motivation to set off on the next adventure. And like all content from WoW (buy now ): Dragonflight, of course, these events must also be tested before the start.
Test of pre-patch events starts
Since these events are part of the pre-patch and not part of Dragonflight directly, they will not be tested in the Dragonflight official beta. Instead, throw the developers the content on the PTRwhich has had the pre-patch on it for quite some time.
- Testing of the Pre-Patch Events begins on October 14th at 7pm GMT (10:00am PDT)!
- The test includes the introductory quest line, as well as the elemental storms in Un’goro Crater and the Badlands.
- In addition, the new level 60 dungeon Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr will be playable.
The latter is particularly interesting. Because it clearly indicates that we can already play the first of the eight new Dragonflight dungeons during the pre-patch. This is of course a pleasant surprise, but it also makes sense in terms of content. Because the dungeon plays a big role in starting the story on the Dragon Islands.
If you want to take the test, you should hurry. As always, it is enough for the developers to only let the event run for a few days. The test phase ends on Monday morning, October 17th, 2022 at 07:59 and the content will disappear from the PTR.
