Diablo Immortal: AFK players are finally getting their hands on it!

More and more streamers are turning their backs on Diablo Immortal.

Diablo has had Immortal with me for some time AFK players in the PvP part to fight. These are users who do not actively participate in the action, but instead stand around idly in the area, but for that still collect rewards. Logically, this is a thorn in the side of a large part of the community. So far, these “AFKers” have gotten off scot-free, but that has changed with the release of the latest update finally changed.

AFK players will receive a penalty

Above all in the battlegrounds the AFK problem was very present and annoyed many players. Since last week, however, there have been increasing reports that the developers appear to be finally countermeasures have initiated. So published the Reddit user “Toraliens” recently a screenshot on which a warning message you can see. This pops up when a player is in the Diablo Immortal Battlegrounds (buy now )Standing idle for a period of time.

“You have been consistently idle and are at risk of a penalty. Please consider helping your teammates.”

Should the respective player continue not actively involved in PvP events participate, the threatened penalty will be imposed. According to recent reports, this consists of the affected player all rewards for the most recent Battleground game. Also activates at the same time some kind of time penalty, which temporarily prevents him from entering another game. This change appears to have been made with the Release of the Halloween update introduced last week, but strangely can’t be found in the official patch notes.
