Sega is releasing an official comic as a prologue to the upcoming release of Sonic Frontiers. It shows the events that happened up to the start of the game.

Dubbed Sonic Frontiers Prologue: Convergence, it gives us a glimpse of how Sonic and his friends travel to the Starfall Islands to extend their quest for the Chaos Emeralds.

Sonic Frontiers: The second part of the comic series has already been published

After the first part of the Sonic Frontiers comic was published last week, the second part has now followed via the official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account.

Both parts are only a few comic panels long, but time was taken for the particularly detailed and colorful depiction of the characters from Sonic Frontiers. So we see in the first part of the comic how the team around the blue hedgehog takes up the fight against Eggman, but not everything is as it seems.

And in the second part we meet the well-known super villain from the Sonic universe again. As the Doctor comes up with his most devious plan yet, will Sonic and his friends make it to the Starfall Islands in time to stop him from implementing it?

Prequel animation is on the way

In addition to the individual comic panels, the cover of Sonic Frontier’s Prologue: Convergence, which was released as part of the announcement of a prequel animated series, is also worth seeing.

The release of the game falls on November 8th. From then on, Sonic Frontiers will be available on all consoles and PC, and a trailer already shows us the abilities of the blue hedgehog.
