Dragon Age Dreadwolf in Alpha, playable from start to finish

BioWare fans are eagerly awaiting the new one Dragon Age. And there is good news. Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is now so advanced in development that we could play it.

That means the basic framework is in place. The game now has the alpha status reached. So the developer studio has the next one milestone reached.

Like the producer Gary McKay reports, those responsible at BioWare are now moving on to the next phase:

“We’ve worked extensively on the different parts of the game so far, but it’s only with the Alpha milestone that a game comes together as a whole. Now we can experience the entire game from the opening scenes to the bitter end.”

What’s next for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf?

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is now a cohesive experience, but there’s no land in sight just yet.

McKay explains in the same breath that there is still a lot to do. Nevertheless, it is a great and remarkable achievement that the alpha phase has been reached.

Now developers can focus on that graphical optimizations, Gameplay Adjustments and things like progress or pace put.

Regarding the characters, the producer continues to speak out of the box:

“We can look at the story that we’ve written and see if we’re delivering it well through the characters, dialogue, cutscenes, and ultimately the player’s journey.”

It also gets exciting when you dive into the new world that was previously “hinted at but never fully explored”. Below falls Minrathousthe capital of Empire of Tevinter.

It is a city meant to appear spectacular in its pure face due to the ancient magic-based background. After countless hints, we will visit them for the first time.
