If you didn’t log into Pokémon Go last weekend, you’ll find out now: Zorua and Zoroark have finally arrived in the game after the problematic spotlight hour on October 25, 2022 and can be caught by you!

Pokémon Go trainers’ faces were long at the last spotlight hour on October 25, 2022. The Niantic developers had announced a surprise for the mini event, which had to be canceled after a short period of time. At the start of the event at 6:00 p.m. and then again around 6:55 p.m., your buddy Pokémon should appear in the wild, apparently, to turn out to be Zorua after a catch.

However, bugs made sure of that, that the captured Zorua kept the stats of the buddies and this turned out to be a problem especially when you went around the houses with a particularly powerful buddies. Accordingly, the Zorua surprise was announced on 10/25. summarily deleted.

But now really: Zorua and Zoroark in the game

Then last weekend, on October 28, 2022, for the second part of the Halloween event in Pokémon Go Zorua was unleashed on the trainers after all – some of you may have wondered that a rare legendary beast suddenly appeared in the wild. But this is Zorua posing as your buddy Pokémon – assuming you have a legendary sidekick, of course. If you use Magikarp as a buddy, then the prankster fox “disguises” itself as the king of splashes. Zorua’s spawn rate is also quite high, so it should be easy for you to catch a fox-type Pokémon or two.
