Finally, with Dratini, one of the most popular Pokémon of the very first generation is doing the honors, which put the second Community Day under its patronage in February 2018. Since this Community Day is a so-called “Classic” edition, there are a few special features that eager trainers should take into account. Pokemon GO: Community Day Classic in November 2022 – What’s different?

What is Community Day Classic? The Community Day Classic is based on certain Pokémon that have already been in the spotlight of their own Community Day in order to offer new trainers the opportunity to catch corresponding Pokémon and Shinys. The suffix “Classic” also indicates a return to earlier Community Days, for example there are not as many bonuses as on a “normal” Community Day.

The event takes place at this time: In contrast to what you are used to from Community Day, the times for the “Classic” Community Day are different than usual. The Community Day with Dratini even takes place a full three hours later:

Community Day Exclusive Attack: For the Pokémon GO Community Day in November 2022, Dragoran will be given an exclusive attack. If you evolve your Dragonair (the evolution of Dratini) into Dragoran between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., it will learn the Draco Meteor exclusive move.

• Exclusive Attack: Draco Meteor
• Trainer Battles: 150 damage, user’s DPS decreases
• Arena and Raid Battles: 150 damage

Is the exclusive attack worth it? “Draco Meteor” is unfortunately relatively uninteresting for raids and PvP. The attack is quite powerful, but Dragonite’s DPS value is reduced in the process. In short, the extra work to learn this move isn’t necessarily worth it at this point.

Pokémon GO: Community Day in November 2022 – that includes the special research

This includes the special research: In order to take part in the special research in Pokémon GO for the Community Day Classic with Dratini, you have to buy a ticket in advance for €1 in the Pokémon GO shop. Please note that this time you will not receive an exclusive medal for it. The exact tasks are not known in advance, but there is usually some stardust and special items, as well as extra encounters with the Community Day Pokémon. Here’s how to get the most out of Community Day: Stardust is still one of the most important resources in the game to level up your Pokémon and become strong trainers. So you should catch Pokemon properly and also use Star Pieces to maximize the amount of Stardust. To farm additional candies, you should activate a Dragon-type Mega Evolution.

The event is primarily worthwhile for farming stardust and for securing shiny dratini with good values ​​if you have not received anything so far.
