Gameplay of Hideo Kojima’s mysterious horror game is leaked

Leaked images of what appears to be a new horror game from Hideo Kojima have been posted online.

The footage, which is widely circulating on social media and can be seen via the embedded video below, is apparently the same game that was first described in a report from Try Hard Guides in June.

It appears to feature Margaret Qualley, who starred in Kojima Productions’ debut game, Death Stranding. It shows a character using a flashlight to navigate dark corridors from a third person perspective.

The video closes with a jump scare before showing “GAMEOVER”, followed by “A Hideo Kojima Game” and finally “OVERDOSE”. You can watch the video below (before it gets deleted):

Following the release of the report describing the footage earlier this year, it was claimed that Kojima Productions requested its removal, apparently lending weight to the claims made in the story.
