Take-Two Interactive: GTA5 hits 170 million sales, RDR2 is at 46 million

Take-Two Interactive’s new financial report reveals impressive sales figures for Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2.

In the latest financial report from Take-Two Interactive there is current information on the sales figures of the two big draft horses Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Grand Theft Auto V has now sold a whopping 170 million units. The gangster epic has maintained its position as the top-grossing game of the past decade in terms of unit sales and revenue in the North American market.

In total, the Grand Theft Auto brand has been able to sell five million more units since August 2022 and is currently at 385 million sales.

The cowboy adventure Red Dead Redemption 2 also stands at an impressive 46 million units sold. A million sales have been recorded since August. Together with its predecessors, the brand has sold 70 million games.

Developer Rockstar Games is currently working on the next big entry in the GTA series with Grand Theft Auto VI. In the recent past, the title drew attention to itself primarily through an extensive leak, which, according to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, will not have any impact on development.
