Obviously: every single action in a game represents a choice, purely from a gameplay perspective. With some very discounted games like Tic Tac Toe (Reference to down-to-earth music of the 90s: Check!) this can even be determined precisely, there are 255,168 possible game histories. Sounds like a big number, but it’s tiny compared to any other board or screen game, and I haven’t even made the contractually agreed detour to open-world titles.
