Pokémon GO: New promo code brings you mini-research with anego and medal

There is a new promo code in Pokémon GO on November 27th. It works for all players, but you only have a few days to redeem it.

What is this code? It happens again and again that promo codes for Pokémon GO are published. You can redeem these codes either in-game or on a dedicated website to easily secure some freebies.

This time, however, there are no items for free, but the mini collector’s challenge: Anego and a medal. The November 27 code is:

What’s in it? You can find the activated mini-research in your Pokémon GO in the Today overview. You should catch Anego and get extra candies. The event with the ultra beasts this Sunday is quite suitable for this.

How long is the code valid? You can redeem it immediately and you should while you still can. You can only redeem it until November 30th at 23:59 local time. Actually, the code should only be shared in the live stream at an inconvenient time. But apparently Niantic has heard the feedback from the trainers and decided to publish a worldwide code that is valid for more than 15 minutes.

How you redeem the codes depends on your smartphone. With Pokémon GO, the procedures between iOS and Android are a little different. While you can easily redeem codes in the game on Android, you have to go through a detour via an external website on iOS.

On Android devices: If you play on an Android device, you can easily redeem promo codes in the in-game shop. All you have to do is scroll down until you find the “Promos” field. There you enter the code, confirm it, and then the items should already be in your bag.

On iOS devices: Entry in the shop is not possible on iOS devices, the corresponding field does not exist at all. Instead, you’ll need to visit Niantic’s Rewards website. You can find the link to it here: Redeem Promo Code (via rewards.nianticlabs.com).

Here you have to select your linked account and enter the code. If everything worked, you should see a corresponding notification on the website. In the game you can check in the diary whether the items have been credited to you with the code.
