Elden Ring: Player defeats all bosses without being hit once

from Jonathan Harsh
One streamer pulled off perhaps one of the greatest Soulsborne Challenge achievements to date by beating the Elden Ring, including all bosses, in a no-hit run.

With its games, From Software always attracts ambitious gamers who come up with very special challenges for Dark Souls and Co. Very few would manage to play through Elden Ring in less than three hours and without leveling up. Or defeating one of the hardest bosses in the game, Margit, with a harp. A new record set by GinoMachino tops it all off though: the streamer was able to beat all of the bosses in the game without getting hit once (via youtube).

This is what makes the no-hit run in Elden Ring so special

Well, no-hit runs per se are nothing new when it comes to Soulsborne games. While most players have trouble even seeing the credits, some streamers take pleasure in not taking any damage in the process. Also for Elden Ring

GinoMachino also imposed the rule on himself to start the game from the beginning with every opponent’s goal. So this is actually a perfect passage. It only took him just under nine hours for the run, but seven months of training were necessary, because the streamer announced his plan in March (via Twitter). According to GinoMachino, it also took 80 to 100 attempts.

He looked for the ideal route through the intermediate lands – every weapon and every item that is taken is meticulously planned. And of course the order of the bosses; the difficult ones tend to come at the beginning so as not to screw up a run towards the end, he reveals to us IGN. Now that it’s done, GinoMachino already has his sights set on the next milestone: a no-hit run with all bosses and without leveling up or upgrading a weapon.
