The interesting thing about it: Both sales were held spontaneously, without prior notice and at unusual times. You could grab the new official bundle for “God of War Ragnarök” without any queue or invitation. But the next drop will be back to what you normally know it to be.

Is there an open sale today? Even if you didn’t receive an invitation from Sony this time despite registering, it’s worth taking a close look at PS Direct today. Because after the invitation-based sale, there is a high probability that an open sale for all interested parties will follow shortly after 12:00 today (however, an active PSN account is also mandatory here).

At least that’s how it always went with past (regular) drops – mind you, since early summer and without exception. Even without an invitation, there could be a chance for a PlayStation 5 today.
