The best MMO mouse for WoW: Dragonflight – 5 recommendations to start the addon

Razer Naga Trinity

You want to treat yourself to a new gaming mouse for the release of WoW: Dragonflight? MeinMMO introduces you to a few mice that can be worthwhile for you.

Dragonflight is the newest addon to World of Warcraft. Some take the opportunity to renew their setting as well.

MeinMMO author Benedikt Schlotmann introduces you to a handful of gaming mice that are suitable for WoW: Dragonflight. The most important thing about the start of WoW: Dragonflight can be found in the following article:

Razer Naga Trinity

DPI: 16,000 | Sensor: Optical | Keys: 3+ 2,7 or 12 programmable keys | Weight: 120g |

What kind of mouse is that? Razer’s Naga Trinity is one of the most well-known MMO mice out there. The mouse comes with three side panels and can therefore theoretically be used not only with MMOs, but also with shooters and MOBAs.

With its 12-button module, the mouse is very well suited for complex MMORPGs such as WoW. Because you can freely assign all keys and also program macros. This allows you to use skills quickly without having to hit the right key on the keyboard.

However, the mouse is not suitable if you have small hands. Because then you can no longer reach all the keys.

Corsair Scimitar Elite

DPI:18,000 | Sensor: Optical | Keys: 17 programmable keys | Weight: 122g |

Corsair Scimitar Elite RGB

What kind of mouse is that? The Scimitar Elite is a gaming mouse that also uses 12 thumb buttons. Corsair relies on mechanical keys that provide a pleasant feel. By the way, a special feature is that you can easily arrange the keypad so that the area is perfectly within reach of your thumb.

Away from MMORPGs, however, the mouse seems a bit too much of a good thing. Because in a fast shooter you won’t need the many buttons and the high weight could also be annoying. If you are only looking for a mouse for continuous use in games like WoW, then the mouse is a tip for you.

Razer Naga Pro (V2)

DPI: 20,000 | Sensor: Optical | Keys: 3+ 2,6,12 programmable keys | Weight: 117g |

Razer Naga Pro

What kind of mouse is that? There is also an improved version of Razer’s Naga series. The Naga Pro offers you an even better sensor, better mouse feet and above all a wireless connection to your computer. Compared to the Trinity, you pay around 30 euros more.

MeinMMO has tested the Naga Pro and we can recommend the extra charge if you definitely want a wireless version of the Naga. There is now also a second version of the Naga Pro, but for less than 100 euros the previous Naga Pro is the better (and cheaper) recommendation.

Logitech G604 Lightspeed

DPI: 25,600 | Sensor: Optical | Keys: 11 programmable keys | Weight: 135g |

Logitech G604

What kind of mouse is that? The G604 Lightspeed is a specialty among MMO mice. Because it only relies on 6 buttons in the thumb area. This makes it a recommendation for players who find the 12 buttons on a Naga or Scimitar too much and whose main game is not an MMORPG after all.

In addition, there is a good battery life, according to the manufacturer, of around 240 hours. On top of that, Logitech’s mouse is fairly inconspicuous and doesn’t look as “gamified” as the competition. The disadvantage, however, is the high weight. At 135 grams, the G604 is the heaviest mouse on this list.

All-rounder tip: G502 Hero Lightspeed

DPI: 25,600 | Sensor: Optical | Keys: 11 programmable keys | Weight: 121g |

Logitech G 502 Hero Lightspeed

What kind of mouse is that? The GG502 Hero is an all-rounder among gaming mice that is not explicitly aimed at any particular type of gamer. You can freely assign and set up the 11 buttons on the mouse.

The G502 Hero has another strength compared to the other MMO mice: In contrast to most MMO mice, which concentrate all the additional buttons on one side of the mouse, here the buttons are distributed over the entire model. This is especially useful if you don’t want or have to operate all the buttons with your thumb.

MeinMMO was able to test the successor, the G502X Lightspeed, for you. The mouse is better in almost every respect, but is currently 40 euros more expensive. With this price difference, the G502 Hero Lightspeed (still) remains our stronger recommendation.
