Pokémon GO has also prepared many events in December to warm your hearts. There’s plenty of stardust waiting for you at the Limelight Hours.

San Francisco – Pokémon GO’s Spotlights return in December and are weekly events that can be rewarding for ambitious Trainers. In the coming weeks, the event will take place four times, each with different Pokémon that will be put in the spotlight, i.e. the “spotlight”. We reveal which Pokémon are involved, when the limelight hours are, how the event works and what bonuses you can dust off by participating.

What is the limelight hour? The limelight hour is a weekly recurring event, which usually takes place on Tuesday evenings. For one hour, one Pokémon is the focus of Pokémon GO, which appears particularly frequently on the world map in this time window. So if you want to farm a specific monster in Pokémon GO, you should take part in the event.

In addition, each Spotlight Hour has different bonuses from week to week, which will still make the event interesting even if you already own the Pokémon. Spotlight hours are often a good way to get Stardust, which you need to evolve your Pokémon.

Pokémon GO: Spotlight Hour on December 6th with Felino at a glance

Is the spotlight with Felino worth it? In the Limelight Hour with Felino, you will be rewarded with double Stardust for each Felino caught. The water Pokémon comes from the second generation of Pokémon, but is unfortunately not particularly useful for PvP or raids.

However, its evolution Molord in PvP Super League is useful in certain combat situations. So if you’re interested in PvP and Molord, and want to fill your bags with Stardust, you’ve got a chance at Limelight with Felino.

Is the limelight with Seemops worth it? Spotlight Hour with Sea Pug gives you double XP when you catch the Pokémon. Seempos comes from the Hoenn region, i.e. the third Pokémon generation. The spherical monster is a hybrid of the Ice and Water Pokémon types.

Although Seemops does not play a major role in PvP or in the raids, it looks very different with its further development Seejong. Seejong plays a not insignificant role in the Superliga. The final evolution of Seempos, Walraisa, is even stronger and even plays in the Hyper League. So PvP players should keep an eye on the Pokémon.

Is the limelight with Arktip worth it? Spotlight with Arktip brings double the candy as a bonus. You need candies to make your Pokémon stronger and to perform evolutions. Each Pokémon needs its own candy.

Unfortunately, Arktip is not of great importance for most players, and even in raids, the small ice Pokémon is more of a fifth wheel on the wagon. As the only Pokemon in December’s Spotlight Hours, you can’t catch Arktip in its Shiny form.

Is the limelight hour worth it with Petzief? At the end of the year, Petznief accompanies you through the last hour of the limelight in 2022. Petznief is an ice Pokémon and ensures that you can get twice the amount of candy, just like with Arktip.

As for his attack stats for PvP or PvE raids, Petznief is about as dangerous as it looks and completely negligible. However, if you are still missing the Pokémon in your collection, this is the ideal opportunity for you to fill this gap in the PokéDex.
