Double XP event starts today – this is how you use it properly

CoD players can finally look forward to a Double XP Weekend in Warzone 2. Here are all the times for the event, where leveling is really fast.

Santa Monica, USA – In Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, players are waiting for a Double XP Weekend in Season 1. The first date of this popular event is finally known. CoD is supposed to start today. Here is all the information, times and dates. There are also tips on what you need so much XP for and what you should consider in the Battle Pass and when leveling weapons quickly.

Warzone 2 is giving you more XP starting today – all the information you need to level up quickly

This event is coming: In Season 1 of Warzone 2 and CoD: MW2, a so-called “Double XP Weekend” starts, i.e. a weekend where there is double experience. These events are rare, but really popular, because that’s how you progress really quickly in the Warzone 2 and MW2 Battle Pass and also level up your weapons quickly to unlock the best attachments.

When does the Double XP Weekend start? The official Warzone 2 Trello board indicates that there are two dates for the Double XP Weekend this week:

• Double XP Weekend (PlayStation): November 30th to December 1st – 7pm
• Double XP Weekend (All Platforms): 1st to 2nd December – 7pm

So CoD players on PS4 and PS5 will get twice as much experience from probably Wednesday evening to Saturday. On Xbox and PC (Steam/Battle.net) the bonus starts one day later. It starts at 7 p.m. German time, which corresponds to 10:00 AM PT in America.

Use XP tokens? Whether you can stack the double experience through the event with XP tokens is currently unknown. We will then add the information at this point. It’s also currently unknown if all modes will benefit from the Double XP Event – for example, if DMZ will get the bonus.

Warzone 2: Battle Pass and level up weapons quickly with XP

For this you need XP in WZ2 & MW2: In the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and the Battle Royale Warzone 2 you level up your military rank through experience (XP/EP). You can climb up to level 55 in the classic way, then the prestige ranks start up to 250 – this is how you get all weapons, equipment and killstreaks.

In addition, you use the same experience that you get simply by playing to progress in the Battle Pass and to level up weapon tiers. This rewards you with cosmetics, CoD points and new seasonal items as well as attachments for weapons.
