Pokémon Crimson/Crimson successor needs an open world again, but better, you say

In your opinion, Pokémon Gen. 10 needs an open world again.

Pokémon crimson and purple is anything but smooth technically, but not only bugs and glitches are among the main problems of the open world adventure. The largely repetitive and unimaginative design of the story missions further reduces the fun of the game. This raises the question of whether an open game world offers real added value or whether the Pokémon series should not rather return to the tried and tested linear structure in the future.

That’s exactly what we wanted to know from you in a survey a few days ago. Now the results of this poll are in – and there is a clear favorite.

Open world or linear? That’s what you want for the 10th generation of Pokémon

• I wish for an open world again, but improved (66%, 1,486 votes)
• I wish the linear world back (28%, 642 votes)
• I don’t care, the main thing is Pokemon (6%, 136 votes)

Crimson doesn’t detract from open world lust: 66% of the GamePro users who voted in our survey would like the Crimson and Purple successor to have an open game world back, which Game Freak should of course improve significantly. In our opinion, a more varied main story would be just as desirable as clean technology and a more beautiful visual design of the world. ScarryNator: “Please stay with the open world, that way I have much more fun with the game. Since I can decide what I do 🙂 And above all, please stick to the co-op feature 🙂 Only graphical things should finally be done :)”

Tenograd: “I already have about 60 hours in the game and yes, an open world is definitely the right direction for Pokemon. Linear games are far too easy for the newer games. The game therefore seemed more challenging to me than sword. Open world with good technology , but overall the series with Arceus and Crimson Crimson goes in the right direction playfully. If only the directors now technically admit that they no longer have a plan and let young blood through, it should be very good.”

Testcheck fan: “The thing is that I wanted an open world for years and when I finally got it I realized that I really didn’t feel like exploring it and would rather continue to move from arena to arena as usual. 😀 So I have it matched “I don’t care.”
