2K Games: Image of a minifigure seems to confirm LEGO football game

An image of a minifigure that has surfaced online could confirm a LEGO football game from 2K Games.

2K Games is said to have secured the license for the development of LEGO video games. We reported in February that the publisher landed a deal to develop LEGO sports games.

Nothing has been heard from the official site so far.

Now a LEGO minifigure of 1414falconfan has been posted on Instagram. The picture shows a figure with a FC Barcelona jersey on the packaging, wearing a purple shark head mask. According to the label, the character’s name is Finnius Dash.

Much more important is the imprint “LEGO Games” and the logo of 2K Games.

The image is said to be from LEGO’s official certification website.

It appears that a LEGO soccer video game is being developed and the packaging could serve as promotional material.

To date, TT Games has developed numerous video games under LEGO license for publisher Warner Bros Games.
