Fortnite: Christmas Event 2022 – Everything about gifts and the upcoming skins

Is there a Christmas 2022 event in Fortnite? Now that Chapter 4 Season 1 is out and players can enjoy the new map, some fans are wondering if there will be another Christmas event later this year.
In previous years, Epic Games celebrated the Christmas season with a big event and 14 free items that could be opened per day like in an advent calendar.
Epic Games hasn’t mentioned a Christmas event yet, but leakers have already found very strong evidence to support that there will be a big event again. We’ll show you everything you need to know about it in the following section.

Everything you need to know about the 2022 Christmas event
What’s the deal with the leak? Hypex, a well-known leaker of Fortnite, has released an important tip from Twitter user FortniteJPNews showing Crackhead’s cabin. This hut was often used to stash the free gifts so you can open them day after day.
This is a leak that not only shows a new crackpot hut, but also two new skins and many wrapped gifts waiting to be opened.
Epic Games has not yet said a word about an event, but it seems very plausible that the developers have one prepared.
Little to no updates are released around Christmas. In addition, the second part of the story quest will only appear in 42 days (as of December 6th). So it makes sense that Epic Games would want to keep gamers happy enough to keep them motivated to gamble this holiday season.
When does the Christmas event 2022 start? We do not know that, yet. A year ago, on December 16, 2021, the Christmas event started.
So it’s quite possible that the event will fall on a Thursday again this year, but this time on December 15th. Should official information spread, we will share it with you.
Will there be gifts? On the Hypex leak, there are many gifts in the background on the left. So it is very likely that Epic Games will gift you.
Is there a free skin for Christmas? Epic Games is also giving away lots of cool items for Christmas, including skins. A year ago, Epic Games gave away two skins in the event:
- winter scarf
- Chrisabelle
Also this time two new skins can be seen on the leaked picture. Once a female skin on the sofa with two pigtails and another style of Fluff, Skye’s comrade-in-arms. This one looks like a fluffy white yeti curled up on the ground.
