Gwent: The Witcher will end support in 2024 with more content planned for 2023

CD Project RED has announced that its card game, Gwen: The Witcher Card Game, it will reach the end of its life in 2024. While the company still has content planned for the game, according to IGNthe studio is moving most of its developers to other projects.

Meanwhile, CD Projekt RED has revealed its plans for content coming to Gwen: The Witcher Card Game throughout 2023, which will include three expansions scheduled for April, July, and September, bringing 72 new cards to the game.

The studio has also stated that despite removing the developers from the game, Gwen: The Witcher Card Game you will still see additional content released in the future. The game will feature a season-based progression system and a new feature that will allow players to vote on in-game balance changes.

The last major Gwent release, titled Gwen: Rogue Magewas released earlier this year for PC, Android and iOS. Gwen: Rogue Mage features more PvE experiences, with its story following Alzur, a wizard who seeks to create the first Witcher.
