The community has been looking at for some time Elden ring (In the test, grade 8.5) is interested in a Colosseum-like, non-accessible battle arena in the Limgrave starting region, which is however fully modeled on the inside. Two other buildings of this type can be found in Caelid and Leyndell. It has often been speculated that these locations would function as a PvP arena in an upcoming paid DLC. Now FromSoftware and Bandai Namco surprisingly announced the Colosseum update.
The patch will be released today, December 7th, 2022, with which the three arenas mentioned will now fulfill their purpose as a multiplayer battleground. Duels and battles for up to six players in two teams or free-for-all are possible.
