FIFA 23: New World Cup event starts Friday – Leaks & information about "Phenoms"

The next promotion for the World Cup starts in FIFA 23 and we’ll show you all the leaks and information that’s available so far.

When does the event start? The next event in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team starts on Friday, December 9th at 19:00 CET. The event was announced by a loading screen, on which the new map design can already be seen.

World Cup Stories will continue to run in Ultimate Team until the new event starts.

The name of the new promo is not yet known, but a leak speaks of “World Cup Phenoms”. It is assumed that these could be young talents from the World Cup, who should be a maximum of 24 years old.

But what exactly awaits us at the event? We look at the known information.

What does the new promo bring? What exactly the supposed “World Cup Phenoms Promo” will bring is not yet known. We also don’t know yet whether upgrades for skill moves or the weak foot could come along with improved values.

What do the leaks say? The well-known FIFA leaker FUT Sheriff has already announced two maps that should appear in the new event (via Twitter).

According to the leaker, these cards could await us in the event:

  • CM: Jude Bellingham (90) – England/Borussia Dortmund
  • IV: Eder Militao (88) – Brazil/Real Madrid

In addition, new tasks and goals and SBCs (Squad Building Challenges) should be expected again.
