Gifts for Christmas: ideas for gamers from 12 to 1450 euros
Christmas is already in two weeks – high time for us to conjure up a few last-minute gift ideas. We are concerned with gifts that are intended for gamers and come from the hardware or peripheral area. Of course, our selection is also intended as inspiration for gamers who want to make a wish list at the last minute. We will look at three price categories on a total of four pages: under 100 euros, from 100 to 300 euros and over 300 euros. The selected products are often only examples, because in many categories there are a number of alternatives for a similar price. By the way, the links in the products lead you either to the corresponding price comparison of the PC games hardware or as affiliate links to one of our partner shops (usually to Amazon).
Gifts under 100 euros part 1
There are many product types under 100 euros that can be considered, so we have divided the ideas over two pages. Mouse pads are at the bottom end, although there are now quite expensive large mouse pads with RGB lighting or even inductive charging surfaces. From about 10 euros you will find good and proven mouse pads that allow the mouse to glide more easily and enable precise tracking.
A classic is the SteelSeries Qck series, which offers mouse pads in many sizes. The mouse pad is available in the size 32×27 centimeters from around 12 euros.

With a size of 90×30 centimeters also intended as a keyboard pad, there is the QcK Prism Cloth XL with RGB lighting from 50 euros. A smaller RGB mouse pad (35.5×25.5 centimeters) is from the Goliathus series Razer the Goliathus Chroma Mediumwhich is available from 30 euros.
Next up are mice and keyboards. Although there is a lot to choose from under 30 euros, we would rather recommend models from 30 euros and up. The selection is enormous, especially when it comes to mice – the Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury is a very cheap and popular mousewhich you can often get from 35 euros at Christmas time, just like the Sharkoon Skiller SGM1.
Among other things, we want the MSI Clutch GM50 for 55 to 60 euros and the Razer Viper 8KHz as well as the Razer Death Adder V2 X HyperSpeed to name. The latter is wireless, just like that Asus ROG Gladius III Wireless for 90 euros and the Logitech G Pro Wireless for 75 euros.
When it comes to keyboards, there is a lot of choice with the so-called rubber dome keyboards. However, we recommend a mechanical keyboard – in our big special from November 11th you will find a lot of information and a market overview.
Buying tips include the Sharkoon Skiller Mech SGK3which are available in variants from 40 euros, the Razer BlackWidow V3 (also as version without number pad) from 70 euros or the Logitech G512 Carbon (tactile) for 90 euros.

Gamepads can also be assigned to the area of control devices – particularly proven and basically almost standard for Windows: the Xbox controller, currently the version with the full name Xbox Series X wireless controllerswhich is also available from time to time for less than 50 euros, just like the current blue version directly from Microsoft for 44.79 euros.
For the PC you need Bluetooth for the wireless connection – otherwise the controller can also be used via USB cable. A wired alternative for 40 euros is the Turtle Beach Recon XboxX/S, which is also compatible with the PC. The Speedlink TORID is wireless and inexpensive for 28 euros.
Installing games on an SSD instead of a hard drive reduces loading times. So even a 1TB SSD makes sense, which you can now get for as little as 60 euros.
The SATA models are even suitable for somewhat older PCs. If you have a mainboard with an M.2 slot, you can also use an M.2 model – the surcharge is small. Two SATA examples with 1TB storage: The Kingston A400 for 62 euros and Crucial BX500 for 68 euros. For example, the M.2 slot is available for 65 to 70 euros Western Digital WD Blue 1TB for 74 euros or the Intensio Premium SSD for a good 60 euros.
