Dad’s Monster House: Dark Puzzle Game and Demo available for Xbox

Behind the gloomy atmosphere of Dad’s Monster House lies a sentimental story. The game is available for Xbox and a demo is also available.

Cotton Game brings a unique puzzle horror adventure to Xbox with Dad’s Monster House. A demo of the game is also available through the ID@Xbox Winter Game Demo event.

The idea for the game was born from the fantastic childhood stories that awakened dreams.

“When I was a child, my mother used to tell me a story about a man-made creature. I later realized that this story was taken from Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein. It was a cool story and when I was eight I dreamed of being a scientist.”

The regret of not realizing a childhood dream was processed with an intense gaming experience. The author found the appropriate atmosphere in a unique black and white style.

The protagonist Carlos has not been at his parents’ house for years. Due to an emergency call, he travels back there after many years to save his father. Carlos must solve the mysteries and entanglements of his memories to get to the bottom of the mystery.

The author describes the monsters as follows: “They are not demons in the traditional sense, but simply creepy creatures that do not come from our world. They have minds, hearts and souls just like us. In a way, they represent the minds of the scientists in the game. They also represent the personalities of some of us game developers in real life…”

Dad’s Monster House is available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. With the demo you can get your own picture.
